The following are two sobering statistings about the 26 counties in the Republic of Ireland.
1. Only one third of one percent claim to be evangelical Christians
2. It is the least evangelized English speaking country in the world
We have taken two short tours of Ireland, two weeks in 2018 and three weeks in 2019, where we have played for audiences in County Kerry, County Cork, and County Tipperary. There have been friendships created and new plans for future ministry. In 2025, we are once again considering a trip to the Emerald Isle. This would be an opportunity to share hope to those who may be the most hopeless and to go where pastors are not invited. There is a ministry called "Amazing Grace" in Bantry, Co. Cork. Amazing Grace brought us in to Bantry to do a concert. Attendance epectations were low (30-40) However, nearly 100 people came to the concert, Christians and non Christian attendees. Our concert directly precipitated funding and help for Amazing Grace ministries which will help continue their events, Bible teaching, and study.
Over the last two trips we funded over 50% of the cost. Although we were happy to do so it has been difficult to recover from the cost as well as being away for three weeks without income. Our 2025 trip need is not yet known but we axpect a cost between $5,000-$10,000. We will be looking at late Winter 2025. When we make final arrangements there will be three options for you to support the trip. The first two are not tax-deductible
